You can use whole seeds or grind the seeds and make your own meal or you can cold-press the seeds to make oil. While high in fat, the oil does not contain the fiber found in other parts of the seed but is very beneficial as a supplement for aging animals.


Flaxseed may be consumed safely by all members of the family it has numerous health benefits for us and our Dogs.
Unlike Fish oils, Flax Seed Oil does not contain any heavy metails or chemicals. There are several ways you can feed Flaxseed to your dog, one of the easiest ways is to (sprinkle a tablespoon over their main meal to suit). You can also use capsules as treats (most dogs seem to enjoy them).


Giving your dog Flaxseed has so many health benefits, it helps keep their coat soft and shiny, helps with constipation and aids in repairing intestinal problems.

The Lignans (natural plant chemicals) found in Flaxseeds contain antioxidants infact they have significantly more Lignans than any other plant or vegetable making Flaxseed and excellent option in the overall betterment of good health for humans, canines and equines. Linseed is a wonderful addition to your dog's diet, farmers have used it for centuries to keep their animals healthy inside and out.
